Essendariach Kennels

Donna McEwan

I grew up surrounded by dogs due to my parents and older sisters involvement with Rough Collies.  However, life then got in the way of my canine activities and it was only in 2006 that we were in a position to get another dog.  That dog was Alfie - a Springer - and our love of Spaniels was underway.  In 2008 we bought a little Blue Roan bitch - Molly - from Catherine Masons Lynshow kennel and Essendariach was well and truly underway.

Kennel History

Moving to Wester Essendy in October 2009, Set between Blairgowrie and Dunkeld we are in a beautiful part of rural Perthshire with easy links to Dundee and Perth and lots of Forrest walks with enough room and lochs for any spaniel to have fun.

Essendariach is positioned on the ridge over looking Loch Drumellie between two fruit farms providing ample amounts of strawberries and raspberries and jam making.

Essendariach, crudely translates from Gaelic Scots into the Little Stream by the Oak Trees.
